This commitment was demonstrated through BRI’s active participation in the Floriculture Indonesia International (FLOII) Expo 2025, Indonesia’s largest international ornamental plant exhibition, held at the ICE BSD, Tangerang, from October 23–26, 2025.

FLOII Expo 2025 is a crucial opportunity for the national horticultural industry to showcase Indonesia’s potential biodiversity on the global stage. The exhibition brought together more than 150 exhibitors from 20 countries and showcased a diverse collection of ornamental plants, from exotic orchids to rare bonsai created by Indonesia’s finest artists.

The event was officially opened by the Minister of Immigration of the Republic of Indonesia, Agus Andrianto, who emphasized the importance of transforming biodiversity into a new, globally competitive economic force.

“The FLOII Expo is not just an exhibition, but also a concrete effort to encourage the ornamental plant industry to become stronger, more innovative, and more competitive in the global market,” he said.

As a strategic partner of the FLOII Expo 2025, BRI is presenting an integrated digital payment solution through QRIS BRI to facilitate transactions for all participants and visitors. This step aligns with BRI’s commitment to expanding financial inclusion and accelerating digital transformation in the agriculture and horticulture sectors.

In addition to digital service support, BRI also opened an interactive booth showcasing a variety of superior products and services, such as BRImo, as well as sustainable financial education through the BRI Green Financing program. At this booth, visitors can also consult directly with BRI experts regarding access to financing, MSME empowerment, and attractive promotions for new customers.

BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny stated that BRI’s participation in the FLOII Expo is a tangible form of support for green economic growth.

“Through BRI’s support at the FLOII Expo, we want to encourage the growth of a community-based green economy ecosystem. The horticulture sector has great potential not only for its aesthetics but also as a new source of income for MSMEs. We hope this event can expand market access for farmers, business owners, and Indonesian ornamental plant communities,” he said.

Furthermore, BRI also played an active role in the Global Business Matching event, which brought together exporters and potential buyers from various countries. Visitors could also participate in various inspiring sessions such as the Business Forum, Talk Show, and the International Ornamental Plant Competition, which showcased Indonesian innovations.

The FLOII Expo 2025 officially concluded its event series with appreciation to the various parties who had supported the event’s success. Michael Bayu Sumarijanto, President Director of Dyandra Event Solutions, stated,

“The FLOII Expo 2025 recorded positive results with a total of 14,112 visitors,” he said.

Seeing the public enthusiasm for the FLOII Expo 2025, the domestic horticultural industry is currently in a significant growth phase, driven by increasing public awareness of the benefits of plants and the concept of sustainability. FLOII Expo 2025 plays a vital role in connecting new and experienced local breeders with international breeders and markets with the presence of 22 international industry players from the United States, Ecuador, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan.
