PPP Jeneponto Branch Holds Political Education

Daftar Sbmptn – The Jeneponto Regency Branch Leadership Council of the United Development Party (PPP) continues to demonstrate its commitment to becoming a modern party that is responsive to political developments and the needs of the community. This is demonstrated through the implementation of the Third Political Education Program in Electoral District II, Tamalatea and Bontoramba Districts, on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

This program is part of a series of political education activities planned to be held in all electoral districts throughout Jeneponto Regency. The event was opened by the Chairman of the PPP Jeneponto Branch, H. Imam Taufiq Bohari, and attended by the Head of the Jeneponto Kesbangpol Agency, Syarbini Mattewakang, PPP Branch administrators, members of the PPP Faction’s Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), community leaders, religious leaders, women’s figures, and youth.

In his remarks, H. Imam Taufiq Bohari emphasized that this year’s political education program carries the theme “PPP Transformation Towards an Advanced Indonesia,” with the aim of strengthening the party’s role to be more modern, adaptive, and responsive to the needs of the community. He explained that this transformation is crucial for raising public political awareness, especially in preparation for the upcoming elections.

“Political education should not be viewed narrowly. It is a crucial part of public policy and has broad benefits for society. By understanding proper political etiquette, we can work together to advance Indonesia,” said Imam Taufiq Bohari.

He also encouraged the public to actively provide input to the United Development Party (PPP) regarding aspirations and development needs in Jeneponto. “Public participation is crucial to ensure the political process runs according to applicable laws and encourages healthy political governance,” explained Imam Taufiq Bohari.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Jeneponto National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol), Syarbini Mattewakang, emphasized that every political party receiving government grants has an obligation to provide political education for the public. He commended the Jeneponto PPP for consistently implementing this program as a form of responsibility and commitment to educating the public about political life.

By implementing this political education, the PPP Jeneponto DPC hopes to increase public understanding of the political system and strengthen public participation in the democratic process towards better quality elections.
