Meanwhile, Mr. Glenn expressed his delight at visiting Pati for the first time. He sees great potential in Pati Regency to strengthen relations with Australia, particularly in the field of human resource development.
“I am very pleased to be in Pati. I started in Surabaya last year. This is my first time visiting Pati, but in the future I will return to discuss the relationship between Australia and Central Java, particularly Pati Regency, with the Deputy Regent of Pati,” he said.
Australia has once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening international relations in the education sector, this time by establishing a strategic partnership with Pati Regency, Central Java. This collaboration is expected to open new opportunities for improving the quality of education, developing teaching staff, and providing access to more advanced learning technology for students and schools in the region.
This partnership plan emerged after representatives from Australian educational institutions conducted a working visit to Pati Regency. During the meeting, the two parties discussed potential collaborations that could encompass various programs, ranging from teacher training and curriculum strengthening, student exchanges, and assistance with technology-based educational facilities.
Several Australian officials stated that this partnership is part of a long-term commitment to supporting improvements in the quality of education in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. Pati Regency was chosen because it is considered to have significant potential for human resource development, particularly through its continuously transforming education programs.
The Australian government believes that access to quality education needs to be expanded to the regions. With the support of technology, a modern curriculum, and professional teaching staff, students in Pati Regency will have greater opportunities to develop academic abilities and future skills.
Meanwhile, the Pati Regency Government has welcomed this partnership plan. They believe that international cooperation is crucial for accelerating improvements in the quality of regional education. With support from Australia, various schools in Pati will have the opportunity to strengthen their digital-based learning systems and align their curricula with global competency needs.
One of the main focuses of this partnership is teacher training. Australia offers a program to improve the competency of educators through workshops, seminars, experience exchanges, and intensive training involving education experts from renowned institutions.
Through this program, teachers in Pati Regency are expected to master modern learning methods that focus on creativity, collaboration, and the use of technology in the teaching process. This approach is considered crucial for facing the increasingly digital and competitive world of education.
In addition to teacher training, Australia also offers assistance with learning technology such as digital devices, interactive learning platforms, and support for the development of language and science laboratories. These facilities are expected to better prepare schools in Pati to face the challenges of technology-based education.
